Description
One of the whites to make the reds turn pale! Maria Pia Castelli a small historic commercial vineyards Pecorino, Passerina, Trebbiano and Malvasia produce on a small scale a structured white with a history. It is the result of a blend of Pecorino, Passerina, Trebbiano and Malvasia. At first sight you intuit that it is a particular wine with nuances of ancient gold due to the unusual cellarage technique that requires contact with the skins and a low level of sulphur dioxide. Fermentation in oak barrels and aging for 24 months.
A well-structured wine, releasing scents of mandarin, bitter orange and a subtle trace of aromatic herbs; it doesn’t disappoint the palate which will find it dry, agreeable to the taste with great aromatic richness and a good persistence.
Recommended with white meats, boiled meats, fish and cheese, or also as an unusual aperitivo. Can be served both chilled and at room temperature. Stella Flora is a white Igt from the Marche that you can taste as an unusual aperitif at the Wine Bar 4 Leoni.
