Rosso di Montalcino Castiglion del Bosco

The Rosso di Montalcino Castiglione del Bosco is a fresh and vertical Sangiovese, highly drinkable produced by Castiglion del Bosco, one of those producers that enhances an already wonderful estate. Their Rosso di Montalcino is a fresh and upright Sangiovese, of great drinkability. The vineyard is located on the northern side of the property and stands at between 250 and 350 metres above sea level.
This unique wine represents the first selection of the best grapes from the various lots, grapes that have all the characteristics to qualify for a Brunello, but because of the peculiarity of the vineyard, characterised by fresh soil, is aged for a shorter period than Brunello and without the classic use of wood, substituted by stainless steel. This allows it to keep its primary aromas that the vineyard itself celebrates, so maintaining a fresh and crispy fruitiness.
