Description

In Oltrepò Pavese, beyond the course of the Po, the hills follow one another between woods and vineyards. Here Tenuta il Bosco signs Oltrenero, a Classic Method that interprets Pinot Noir with a modern and elegant style. It is a bubble that recalls long aperitifs, outdoor tables and convivial evenings, but which also knows how to dialogue with important dishes, as is often the case with bottles chosen on the road and then uncorked at home.

Grape variety and winemaking

Oltrenero Brut comes mainly from Pinot Noir grapes grown on the suitable soils of the Oltrepò Pavese. The base wine is vinified in steel, then referments in the bottle according to the Classic Method and remains on the lees for several months, acquiring aromatic complexity. It is pale straw yellow, with continuous and persistent perlage; on the nose, bread crust, mineral, floral notes and small red fruits emerge; on the palate it is fresh, savory and decisive.

Food pairings

Perfect with selected cold cuts, seafood appetizers, fish dishes, sushi, delicate risottos and pasta with light sauces. It is also great for structured aperitifs, finger food and contemporary vegetarian dishes.
