The Asinone wine produced by the Poliziano farm in the vineyard of the same name after a careful selection. The grapes are 90% Sangiovese and Colorino and Merlot for the remaining 10%. The harvest is done manually in crates. Fermentation in stainless steel vats and subsequent aging for 18 months in French oak tonneaux. It has a brilliant ruby red color, intense aromas of cherry and black cherry on the nose. In the mouth it is rich, full and intense. A complex red with velvety tannins and a persistent finish. Recommended pairings, aged cheeses, game and red meats in general.
