Dark chocolate is a powerful ally of good mood and health by stimulating the production of serotonin.
Trattoria 4 Leoni offers you a series of recipes for a good mood made with foods that not only stimulate our taste buds but also are able to promote the secretion processes of seratonin: the good mood hormone.
The chocolate pudding recipe with orange marmalade is the queen of these. Chocolate, especially dark chocolate (the more cocoa it contains, the better) is the food of good mood par excellence, it contains tryptophan, a substance that stimulates the production of neurotransmitter serotonin which plays an essential role in regulating some important functions such as mood, sleep, memory, learning and satiety.
Dark chocolate is good for the heart, thanks to the large amounts of flavonoids, substances that can fight cholesterol, lower blood pressure, regulate vascular tone and the degree of restriction of the lumen of blood vessels.

Hello. My husband and I were in Florence in the fall of 2022 for 2 months – working and living. During our stay, we ate at your restaurant several times. We loved everything about it and the star was the food. It is hard to say if I had a favorite dish but if I had to choose, I think it would be the Lasagne al Forno. Due to the fact that we won’t be back to Florence for years, I would like to ask if you would be willing to share this recipe with your fans like me? Thank you for the consideration. Jane
